rice-Horns are a good team can't take that away from them but i have been there as a coach ,and in a reg as a player the have gone through a lot of pitching not many innings but you are still sore the 1st and 2nd day after . And they will feela little pressure on them also no -one wants to go home. This won't be a blow out like last game the matched up that was a fluke that happens some times but got to go with the team who has the fresher pitching when your this late in the series and if they win aginst rice i will double it up on thur.

This will be a better game then game 1 match up it will not be a easy win for rice , don't want to mislead you but from a coaching stand point got to like the team who has rest and fresh arms.

i made a small play on cal state hugiens should throw for cards it will be a great game , cal-state is the better over all team and has proved it 4 times now and that is a little scary as a coach going in knowing you handled a very good team 4 times with out a L, so things avg out so i played the better team but the 4 straight aginst a top team concerns me some, if it was 4 straight aginst a poor team then that is different, also cards have swung the bats better late in the year but took cal-state for a unit. it will be a great game just not as sold on the side i took for reasons stated.

yes even with a loss i have futures on them and rice. cal state got beat by the best the cards have and will be tuff to shut them down on thur, i said as a coach it tuff to beat a team 5 straight times that is good but took a shot and will do the same as i am with rice i will double it up thur. If rice wins tonight they will have a big day of rest i know it sounds stupid but a day to take off and have players relax and the ones who are knicked up in training room is big. Cal state has a good staff they can hit better then cards or owls just did not click today and the key was huggens on the mound he can throw the ball, all the teams left can field so good really no edge there for any of them coaching tx,rice,cards have they edge over cal state imo. That last blast by cards was a shot if bats were from 2 years ago it would of been 450+ it still went 400. wind has been very weird, i look for it to kick at least one time storms coming in the laste pm could kick them up and out if so would be a adv for horns in power even though they don't have th big numbers it is because of the style of ball they play but they all can go yard don't be fooled. so hopeing wind stays down.

I feel ... and of course I am no college baseball guru as yourself. But I feel they are one of the more Underated teams out there. The value of betting them on a day to day basis I am sure is gone at this point. Linemakers caught up with them IMO. But hell for them to win it all is worth a small shot I would think.
