Gamers in the house? (Xbox 360?)

Can someone give me the short version of the run down on this thing? Why is it better/different from the original, what will it do that the old one doesn't, etc...

I see the price is like $400 so it better be something special.

Are you getting one, if so how? I asked at a few places and if you are not on a waiting list or willing to pay the scalpers on EBAY, you seem to be screwed.

I'm getting one. I pre-ordered two at Gamestop in like June.

There won't be any at Best Buys or Circuit City or any gaming shop till after the Christmas season.

I heard the first edition boxes were limited to 250,000.

Its like T-minus 28 days till gaming fun.

I expect to see them at 500-800 bucks on ebay
