I won big with Tulane but do you guys have any idea how they covered the -17.Unreal.
Tulane could have won 55-27.

Hey Box........

Another die-hard Phillies fan here. Has this season been a trip?
Unbelievable. Think they'll manage to take two out of three next week in Florida? They better if they hope to win this thing. No way in my mind that this won't go down to the very last game of the season. Just has to as it would be fitting.

Rarely bet the bases but occasionally warned those on this board that do that trying to figure out the Phillies is hopeless.

Eric

and worm just shoot me a email from my site i am always around just have been home bound last few weeks and might be for a few months will know wen. and if i am still layed up you are always welcome to come over to the house and watch a fight or game i have a real nice set up i had put in, it was a gift to me i don't buy much . just golf stuff and that will be gone for at least 8-9 more months so i had a state of the art home theater designed and put in from a company called robco if you live here in vegas anyone, they do the casino systems out here and the work for a lot of the movie theaters out here it is great speakers are in the ceeling just like a movie theater cannot see 1 wire , it is my toy with a 55 inch hdtv plasma with it. fun to watch dvd's are unreal as is the hdtv get about 11 stations now on hdtv unreal difference. the best channel i think is hdtv net, or disc hdtv. well good luck and thanks, i watched that game box it was a fun game to watch got a litlte tight. with the phils i think if they win today and marlins lose then they will take it. it is going to be tight though. they need to win today and hope braves beat the fish it would be a big boost with 9 games left.

Fletcher, sorry about the knee.Probaly an old baseball injury right?
Mikey,I know if your a Phillie fan you can sympathize.Unreal.How God made me a NY Giant fan and Phillie one is beyond reason.
I thought they turned the corner on Friday going up half a game.
Imagine having Bowa in the lockeroom after those games. Is Gene Mauch still alive.Maybe go with Millwood and either Padilla,Wolf or Meyers the last week.Gene went with Short and Bunning in '64. That really worked.

Anyway just maybe they get the wildcard.Fletch, hope you recover.
Maybe the Giants and Phillies win today.Might parlay those two.Padilla and Tiki....thats a nice combo...GL

Eric.....

Phillies will definitely add gray hairs from a fan or bettor's standpoint. Funny thing is they have a great record on Saturdays and Telemaco pitched a great game. Hard to believe the Phils were shut out by Von Poppel but that's the Phillies. Today's game is the first of many huge games but they can't drop two of three at home to the Reds and expect to win this thing. Padilla has been BY FAR their best pitcher down the stretch and today's game should be as close to a best bet as you could ever hope with the Phillies. I'd give the 1.5 runs in this one. Hope your leg heals fast.

Box.....

You go way back too? A sign of our old age I guess. Gene Mauch just got out of the hospital after having a cancerous lung removed and is 77. Was a very underrated manager because of '64 and the Donnie Moore Angels denying him pennants. He actually pitched Bunning on two days rest in '64. Imagine some manager pulling that now in this coddled pitcher's age. He'd be crucified. Funny thing is Padilla and Telemaco have strung more quality starts together than Millwood and Wolf so it's tough to go to a reduced rotation the last week as the "aces" haven't really stepped up. Think the Phillies/Giants parlay is a winner though.
