Fletch,

Your killing me man! I capped all day, and came up with, StLouis, Marquette, and NC Charlotte.
Today is only my 2nd day posting, and I am trying to learn about College hoops. I am going to post my write up in your thread, and maybe you could advise me on the points I am missing between these teams. I am really trying to learn, so any and all angles are appreciated.
I highly respect ALL of your handicapping skills, and have read your threads daily, for ever. Good Luck DD

:) St LOUIS +1 @ SO. MISS

I hate to bet on two bad shooting teams, but SoMiss is 1 bucket away from being 1-9 vs. the number in their last 10 outings. Home court doesn't spark SoMiss at all.
Neither team can rebound, but StLouis did show a pulse in the Cinn game. Had they shot better than 29% from the field, they would have beaten the cream of ConUSA.
I'm betting that they can feed of of that recent performance. They have covered the number in 3 of their last 4 games. My #'s show StLouis as a 4 point favorite.
Gonna play ******************ST LOUIS +1 for 2units *************

Marquette -6' @ Tulane

This is the funniest line of the day. I show Marquette able to win by double digits easily! Tulane has NO home court advantage. They even lost to Houston at home. That's sick!!
Tulane is below 60% in FT % in the last 5, and I always say "this is due to lack of concentration". Only positive for Tulane is ability to crash the boards in the last 3 games.

It will not be enough to slow down Marquette, who has played in some BIG games this year, and that will give them the edge down the stretch!

Marquettes defense will shut down The Wave
********************MARQUETTE - 6' for 2units*******************

NC Charlotte -6 @ DePaul

Another funny line! DePaul is not as good as some of the ratings guys think. Marquette is only a bucket away from covering the last 5 on the road ATS.
NC Charlotte realy scorching the twine lately, and I look for it to continue tonight. DePaul has lost last 5 of 6 S/U.

DePaul played great ball back in December, but that was LAST YEAR!!
Two teams going in opposite directions!!
NC Charlotte is warming up for the Dance, and DePaul won't be much of a hindrance! Look for NC Charlotte to really open up in last 5 minutes of this one.************* NC CHALOTTE -6 for 5 units***************

dont worry about what i played i have been cold last 2 days ,so i am on a little draw back, and if i go 3 days in a row i will be done for a few days just to clear mind. so these are so so they way i feel, yesterday i thought i did it all right well all right but just had all wrong sides. so its not even close to be a given.

will still wish you good luck one of us will win,i am not worried not like i havenot lost a few days in a row,and baseball is soon:D

be careful on marquette

be careful on marquette

they have at least one eye on their huge matchup Saturday, at home, versus CIncy -- local media here is already talking about it, as are the marquette fans, so I wouldn't be shocked to see Marquette struggle mightily tonight, even against a below average Tulane team.

good luck!

hi

hi

As you see people, two cappers, Fletcher and Doubledown can put a lot of work into their games and still come out with mostly opposite picks..........what is the moral of this story????

Be like me, I find my own simple personal trend that I'm confident about and pick my teams, I guarantee u that I will be on the same side as one of these cappers if we decide to pick the same games, except I spent less work on mines............and still, I can guarantee you that I'll end up with the same results as one of them. ;)

I know it sounds stupid, but it's true.

Well one thing forsure hello there. Those six games will have six winners. And after the games are played it will look so easy. Now should I use three of this and three of that. Nope. You better ride one horse or the other. You try to pick around you will wish you had not. I believe even Fletch will tell you that.

djv,
Me, pick around??? Nah, I don't do that. I rather lose on my own picks instead of someone elses. ;)

That's why your the King , Fletch! SoMiss put a beatin' on StLouis!

Two three pointers in the last 9 seconds made the Tulane game a 2 point game! I surrender!!!! Next time, I pass on my picks!!

Ever wonder how those teams can always make backdoor cover threes at the end of a game??? I'll bet the 3point % is about 75% in the last minute of all college games!! :(

Hello There - your reasoning is a little faulty here. You state that since Fletcher and Doubledown have taken opposite sides on six games, you can do your own capping and end up at least as good as one of those two. You say "I know it sounds stupid"; "but I guarantee that I will end up with the same results as one of them."

Not so. Let's say that Fletcher goes 3-3 and Doubledown goes 3-3. You are on the same side as fletcher on his 3 losers and you are on the same side as Doubledown on his 3 losers. Unfortunately this makes you 0-6, which is not as good as 3-3. The only way you can guarantee to do as well as one of them is to play the same side on all 6 plays.

hoops is all screwed up this year and even your big groups are getting hit hard you win for a few days then get beat for a few,i keep saying its going to change but shit is just not falling into place, teams up big then blow leads late 3 pointers that mean nothing except to kill spread i am done till next week or so,not worth it for the bankroll i will wait for the last 3 weeks of conf where teams that are good win for a better sead and the ones that are out play the younger guys getting ready for next year,

nhl has been good of late for me will start playing more of it,i just try to maintain till conf tourny time and fire away in baseball when it like this, this happens about every few years in college,so its not you it just unpredictab;e,not that anything is a sure win but sd.st shot 78% the 2nd half aginst unlv but had 32 turnovers of course i had state 78% and you lose ,the shot 45+ the first half.

i am not leaving but i know when to pull back going to see wen,and if its not a good day it will be ,time to adjust and that takes awhile ,a few days,if you go by pr rpi and little things here and there and your number is about right then you play it and game is just a flop due to let down then you need to go back and start knocking off teams as no play and that is what i am doing, but ti does me no good to play and i post what i play if i am not winning,i dont belive in playing your way out of a slump and if i lose on wen that is 4 days in a row and that isnot me so it will be time to retool some things, even the groups i deal with are taking a bath the last few weeks, there is always going to be games but ,there is a time to pull out for a few days also.its of no use to post plays when you are cold and if i am not playing i wont post.

cant force something that isnot happing to to have action or least i wont because that wont pay the bills, not playing is fine because i have a well bankroll, and it all goes back in then paymyself and bills and everything else go back into a few accounts and roth funds,so when i am cold it is foolish,i dont live day to day,so to push when i am cold is poor money management.
if i win i will go to next day but this happens at times and its best to set out for a few days,in baseball i dont worry because there is always a mismatch because you don't see many sweeps, but it takes some balls to play against a sweep and thats where guys let games go buy.for me in baseball i know i willnot go more then 3 days without profit, right now in hoops i feel like it could run for ever if i dont break the run so 4 days is alot to me if it happens again wen.

got to do whats good for my business sorry, maybe it will end wen but dont hold breath, need a few days in a row to feel the vibes, hard to explain but thats how it is with me.

Those back door threes won't ever stop until the move the 3 point line away from a jump shot to something a little bit tougher. What does Duke rely on so heavily, 3's and they are the hands down favorite at this point. I mean the line is what at like 19'6"? That ain't much at all.
