Hey Fletch,

God never got anything wrong, and the Bible is full of people questioning his judgment. His 10* plays of the day were 100% documented!!! ;)

I thought it was a nice gesture to offer the guy some help, which of course, is actually offering some help to all of us. Don't be discouraged from advising people because somebody else sticks their nose in. You know by now it comes with the territory. If someone with your reputation still gets flak, imagine what the rest of us hear when we give advice.

I'm with ya on those, and I'm sure a lot of others are also.

Don't really know what's going on, but if Fletcher is giving advise out, you people should LISTEN. The guy's a proven winner and knows his stuff. Of course, there's always gonna be differing opinions and that's what makes this place #1...I'm not saying everyone's gonna agree with him and possibly may be wrong, BUT just something to keep in mind, cause he's been doing this a long time and is just trying to help.

on the total, do you anticipate a beanball war, or just a lovetap for Clemens and everybody goes about their business. I have nothing but memory to go on, but it seems that games where fights take place also tend to involve more runs with pitchers being thrown off their game, losing focus. Of course there are a couple/three more baserunners with hit batsmen, but that's not necessarily why I would be concerned with more runs. Does this possibility concern you?

if roger doesnot get drilled first time up then, estes should get drilled in the locker room.

and if the umps give a warning before the game that is bs,because a pitch really could slip and then a pitcher is throwen out of the game,a warning to a pitcher or both is to take place after a batter is hit or the ump decides the pitcher is head hunting which i don't aprove of but drilling someone in the back to get a point across is part of the game and always will be.

me myself as a coach and catcher i was a 2 for 1 you hit my guy on purpose then i will hit your guy +1 and if my first pitcher is throwen out i will put in a pitcher that i do not use much or won't use for the next game and have him hit him the first pitch and i would go to showers with pitcher #2 there comes a time where you have to get your point across, the key is to know when to do it,sometimes you cannot do it that game but there is always another day. but in this game it has to be today, the time has ran out.

Hey Fletch,

Sorry you had to deal with the chit earlier. I replied to his post and ended up deleting it because I didn't want to start anything.

It was very nice of you to offer some "tips" and I can't believe DaMan took the shot he did.

Anyway, I saw it the same way you did and thougth it was totaly BS.

Take Care

I don't have time to do much research on the games myself, so I rely on the handicappers here. You are one of the most highly respected handicappers on this board. I know a lot of us respect and look forward to your expertise. If someone is giving you a hard time simply disregard them. You do a great job and a lot of us need your picks! Keep them coming

Flech, 99% of the people on here are truly greatful for the time and effort you put in to your picks:) and anyone who has'nt benefitted from your help is full of chitttttt;) So as we all often have to do is ignore some people and their ignorance:D
