astros-135

this is a team play has nothing to do with a pitcher,if astros have any chance they need to start to beat teams like this at home, buc's have started out hot but i think the last 2 days against the reds has brought them back down and then going down to play houston i think you will see them a step behind today.

also i would loook to play aginst marlins see a few people like the fish, and they might win but i know someone that is inside and after being told an out right lie about they were going to try to get people to help them make their push then sold off floyd and will have 3 more by end of july gone trust me on this. they donot care if they win for the owner or themselfs and this was a statement they in the club house feel they were sold out again and this time want to stick it to ownership, you have 3 pitchers who have there 3 years in at the end of this year and they probley won't be around. marlins won't spend money to keep them. take it how you want fish could care less at this point and are making a point in their own way belive if you want but i know this person told me the truth and that is all i am going to say on the matter nor will i say a name.

How come you arent fading them then as one of your plays? Just curious. I always look for yours, Ndnfan, KCwolf and Raymond's plays beofre playing my own and until this post I was looking at the fish as a live play tonight.

No offense, but that inside information from fletcher is common knowledge--in fact, I just heard it on the Jim Rome show. And if the Fish were truly dead because of this, why did they beat Montreal three in a row? In my opinion, it is irrelevant info that clouds the mind. Nevertheless, montreal looks more appealing than the fish because pitching matchup is arguably a wash, but montreal is very solid at home--30 wins, 17 losses....and the fish have been weak on the road--19-29. Seems like a fair line would be Montreal -150.

just my thoughts, not trying to start sumthin...

Nobody said you got the info from a radio show--I said it was common knowledge and not something that anybody in the world could know by listening to the Jim Rose show. Not busting your chops....

again--if the fish were dead, why did they sweep montreal? In fact, there is no proof, other than correlation, that the fish swoon was caused by the trade. Its merely an assumption. In fact, all but the best teams go through a long losing streak at some point in a season, maybe it was time for the fish to have theirs, and everybody jumped to the conlcusion it was the trade. Who knows?

There have been more than a couple of occasions where I've seen good cappers use trends and analysis to justify a play. Then Fletcher posts some kind psychological angle (whether it be from a team insider or his own personal experience) for the other side of the same play. I don't have numbers, but I'm confident Fletcher has been on the correct side of those plays at least 60% of the time. The last example I can think of is the Cubs/Fla plays a few weekends back.

Fletcher,

I hope your realize that its human nature to question others. . . even consistent winners like you. For the longest time I have wondered why you can't just look the other way when a post like this comes along, but maybe if I was in your shoes, I would react the same way.

As I'm sure you know, the high majority of us appreciate your info. and it would be great if we were not punished for the few on here (mostly newbies) that do not value your info.

Good luck tonight. . . I'll be on the Expos with you

Can you guys not read? What in my posts is so threatening that you have to rush to defend Fletcher? He's a big boy and can answer questions for himself. I don't even know why anyone is threatened by this. Did I say he was a bad capper? Did I challenge him to prove himself to me? Look at my posts. I simply pointed out, and correctly I might add, that nobody has demonstrated the Fish swoon was caused by the trades--they are simply correlated. Maybe the Fish are demoralized, maybe not. Even if the Fish lose every game, this is not direct proof that they lose because of being demoralized. They might lose because they don't have as much talent anymore, and motivation has nothing to do with it. Or maybe motivation has everything to do with it. I don't know. But nothing I posted should be causing this much commotion.

i was just teliing mack that my info was not off a radio show i said it before ,and i just got back in town from golf late yesterday so have not listened to jime rome nor do i because first he has no value he is a talk show host like opra, never played a sport in his life, his show sucks heard it a few times.

but its all the time nickleback you get questioned eveyday by someone for some reason and most are for a reason other then to talk about sports then you would feel like i do here, funny 5-1 and never heard shit this week not that i care to,but if its something someone can run with then they do 80% of the time.

and i also said take it or not i know my source is a real person not a talk show host.
