ya aren't helping me figure this out any better here, raymond..... what makes it a trick question, and why is the final answer 3rd base, if you say it could go anywhere?

it's official, Raymond, now you're trying to confuse me even more......LOL

why with no wind would a ball hit directly towards and over 2nd base drift towards third? wouldn't the pitch, and whether the batter was a righty or lefty come in to play, too.....what does no wind have to do with which way a ball would automatically drift. (once i get this thru my head, at least i will have learned something for the day......i still can't learn where my dang daughter is)!!! been trying to track her down for 5 hours now.

wasn't trying to *get you* raymond....figured you had a valid explanation that i just wasn't seeing, and wanted to know what it was that MADE the answer 3rd base.... i confuse VERY easily some days, and this is one of those months

the ball can go anywhere because if there is a righty batter he can pull it or hit to the opposite field, wind or not.same with a lefty batter
so ray,you are right, the ball can be hit anywhere no matter where the wind is blowing
and that is pretty much,COMMON SENSE!!

KAS, Raymond said the ball was hit from north to south...... that is only ONE place........ it was not hit a little bit to the southwest, or southeast....it was hit due south, which way would it *drift*
