The one way to stop it is. Get back on that bus like or walk more as our grandparents did. Heck I remember how grandad rode a bike, took the bus, or walked so many places. That car would be used on Saturday and or Sunday for family rides. Or special trips.
We parked those autos for a week. There be a drop in price fast.

I hear ya DJV;)

Wish I could carry 2-4 tons on my back daily and drive around on my bicycle.:rolleyes: (I tried once, then broke up with her)

They got me by the nards.:(

My trucks don't weigh all that much but they are "moving walls" in the windy city.

I can't even imagine how this is going to hit independant over the road operators with those massive semi's.

IO it's like a double tax on all of us. First we pay high Gas tax. Then because so much of our goods is now over the road. Those companies and private guys have to bring there rates up. And of course that cause the prices of goods they haul to go up.
In fact you want to see the chit hit the fan. Have all thos haulers park those rigs for about three days.
