Not all bad has come out of Iraq.I admit Afghanistan has probably or I should say more troublesome.

Now comparing your bad decisions in life to Americas foreign policy is actually quite laughable.

I will venture a guess that my friend, who postponed his education by leaving law school to join the marines in September, 2001, is more noble, courageous and honorable than the lot of us posting in this thread. He served multiple tours and fought like hell to serve more, but wad sidelined with a severe back ailment.

He acted out of a selfless desire to protect our way of life and regrets nothing.

I would venture a guess that if you asked your friend now or 30 years in the future --he will say those years in marines were some of most instumental in shaping his life.

I have said before if not for military I'd probably be sitting in some jail today. Those 2 years totally changed my attitude and life.

Appears we have our usual lot here trying convince us - the character of cyber trolls trumps our troops. Will be quite a challenge outside their small circle. :)

To you and your friend Cie :toast:

I have no doubt that is true. Some of us don't need the military to know the difference between right and wrong. You completely made my case for me. Thanks.

If I could get away with it, I would wear a Vikings jersey everyday.

I like acting like a kid, I am good at it. GF says the same thing. :toast:

I hear ya. I dont own a jersey, but find it difficult to pass judgement on those that do. Life is short, do it your way:toast:

Football jersey are a little different cause they aint bad looking. Im talking about the guy in Philly who is 50 years old wearing a Lindross Jersey with the big 88 and Lindross pasted on the top. Or the guy in the grocery line with the huge Eagle on the back of his jacket When u go watch him drive away he has all those Eagle stickers all over his SUV. :142smilie

A jersey is a jersey. It's another mans name on your back. I think it makes you look like a fool. That is just my opinion though. I know some of you love your jerseys. I just don't get it. Just like I don't get these fools who stand in line for another man's autograph.
