I thought LSU was a pretty solid club. Texas didn't have as much fire power as you would expect from the #1 overall seed.

Good observation. Texas and their .287 batting average did not seemingly deserve the #1 seed, as more balanced LSU was 22-4 last 26 regular season games and #1 in 3 of 4 polls heading into the postseason.

I agree that the CWS was interesting this season.
