Majority of Iraqi youth wants U.S. out
AP - 26 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - Majorities of Iraqi youth in Arab regions of the country believe security would improve and violence decrease if the U.S.-led forces left immediately, according to a State Department poll that provides a window into the grim warnings provided to policymakers. The survey -- unclassified, but marked "For Official U.S. Government Use Only" -- also finds that Iraqi leaders may face particular difficulty recruiting young Sunni Arabs to join the stumbling security forces.

Yep more AP opinion--I guess thats why lines are always full at recruiting areas and prime spots and pickings of suicide bombers?

Good thing I read your article if not I sure would have thought it was the insurgency that was trying to stop all the enlistments ;)

In addition you might want to consider joining the liberal opt eds Hammer as I see you put up only the part of article you wanted to put forth-some how you forgot to put up these--

"The poll has its shortcomings; regional samples are small and the results do not say how many people refused to respond to questions--"

"70 percent of young Iraqi Kurds see the multinational forces as a liberating force"

Makes sense to me, If you take the targets out of the country, there will be less violence. We don't need a poll to tell us what smart people already know. That's all are guys are right now, Targets. The insurgents are not going to man up with us in some type of conventional war that this administration planed for and has never seen. The insurgents are not around, they blow us up with IUD's and SNIPERS. ALL WE ARE IS TARGETS ! Stay the course, use those great talking points : cut and run and liberals are SOFT ON TERROR, BUT STAY THE COURSE AND KEEP THOSE TARGETS IN PLACE. I am no liberal. I am American that has voted for many Republicans. It's time to cut and run from this Republican Party.

I want someone, anyone, to tell me what I said that was not true in my last post.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The part about targets--that would apply to any war we or anybody ever participates in..
If you don't participate you can't be a target---UNTIL they come for you --ie 911 then you have NO choice.

Heres a chain I'm baffeled about--the insurgents are killing Iraqi's daily--were are fighting the insurgents-iraq'is want us to leave?

Their gov says don't leave--the people voted the gov in--yet AP "tries" to infers Araqi's in general want us to leave--because someone took small sampling of certain age bracket in Summi territory.

Click on A.P. lnk to article--read bold headline--then read article and make your own conclusion on their agenda.

Seeing as how there was no connection between Iraq and 9-11, I'm not grasping your analogy. But thanks for taking the party line of subtly trying to tie them together again.
