Tomorrow, we have Southern Miss @ Houston... Leaning toward Southern Miss right now. Southern Miss has won 4 str, but Houston has won 5 str. However, Flethcher has been awesome for the Golden Eagles lately. Kolb is the man and the game is in Houston, but Southern Miss already beat Houston this year and they are more than capable of beating them again with the better rushing attack.

Strong Lean toward Southern Miss, but would like to hear more comments before pulling the trigger. Remember, the team that rushes the ball better wins over 70% of the time.

i think i will be playing Houston. Lsat time these two played, Kolb torched their secondary for 339. Fletcher only rushed for 80 yards on the Cougs with a 3.8 YPC. the game was in Southern Miss when these 2 met and Southern Miss came away on top by 4.

also would like to add, fletcher is a freshman.....this game does not mean as much to him as it does to Kolb who is a senior and not only playing for a championship, but playing for a future job. he also hasnt thrown a INT in his last 3 games.

Good call on the 2 sides last night that I was on as well- then you talk me off MU only to change your play-nice guy- and its my Bday. For the record, Kolb is the man @ QB. You cannot go against him in H-Town. I do like that So. Miss RB, but not tmrw

I don't know much about either team but i had an initial lean towards SoMiss. So you should probly fade it!

Southern Miss +7 (-125) for 5* & ML (+210) for 2*... Golden Eagles greatly improved as season progressed and I'm not buying the Kolb is a Senior so he wants the game more. Southern Miss is more athletic and the last 3 meetings between these schools were decided by a TD or less. Sure Houston wants revenge, but at least Southern Miss won't be lacking confidence and their QB Young improved dramatically towards the end of the season. Small Upset tonight as entire world backing Houston.

Prediction: Southern Miss 27 Houston 24 GLTA

on the road so. miss. averages 35 carries for 148 yds. per game at 4.2 ypc. on the average teams have run the ball also about 35 times per game for 169 yds. per game at 4.9 ypc.

at home houston rushes the ball on average 35 times per game for 183 yds. per game at 5.3 ypc.on defense teams at houston rush the ball for an average of 32 times per game for about 139 yds. per game at 4.4 ypc.

so according to the stats...houston has a better rushing attack while playing at home than so. miss. does while playing on the road....& i think that's important...houston is home while so. miss. is on the road....but who knows...i will take houston winning this game by 4-6 points for both of us.
