The caveman commercial is great. It not only provides a humorous hook that makes the consumer laugh it enforces the company name. Unlike the Terry Tate commercial (office linebacker) that generated a buzz, but lost its purpose (to promote Reebok) the Geico commercial enhances the brand by increasing name awareness.
