This game does not set up well for Georgia.

Georgia can crow all they want about beating LSU
at home last week, but that game proved nothing.

Florida to get some big payback for last year dog stomp.

Even though they have downplayed it, that shit hurt Florida. And Florida is a proud team.

Not to mention they have a Heisman winner on the team, so much more speed, and a much better pass defense than Georgia.

Stop Moreno just like Alabama did, and this game is over.

I hate it when its this easy

I was going to play one of these game very large but the more I thought about it, I realized I should split the games and go for 2-0 wins or offsetting games.

I like my chances here with Florida and Texas.

The Gators have outscored opponents 152-33 since a 31-30 loss to Mississippi on Sept. 27.

"We're going into that game on all cylinders," said Florida running back Percy Harvin, who's averaging 106.8 yards from scrimmage. "We're looking to get to Atlanta (for the SEC championship game) and Georgia's in the way. We remember the loss last year and we're going to prepare for them real good."

The speed of this Florida team should be enough to get them this victory.

Florida is not a smashmouth type defense like Alabama , but they are very good. Georgia does not match up to this defense.

sorry Bulldogs. I love ya but here is another big game I cannot trust him to play like he is capable of and beat a solid Florida team with payback on their minds.

There is a big reason why Florida coach would not let them talk about the dog stomp. They have the picture of it posted in their locker room.

No giving Georgia anything they can use to motivate them as a team. Florida will do their talking on the field by whipping some bulldog ass.

I doubt Coach Richt will do anything to make a display again in this game. It worked once. To do it again is to be embarressed.

Don't feel good about this game either way, but at least you're making a smart buy. Georgia is a solid freaking team and has the athletes to compete. Game will be 60-40 Florida fans IMO.

I would also argue buying points more than a half-point or 1 point will kill you in the long run. Please take the advice of someone who has been betting seriously for 15 years. Most games are decided within a teaser of a point spread in football. Buying 2, 3, 4, 5 points will crush you in the long run IMHO.

Best of Luck as I might back Florida as well, but still debating this game right now.

-5.5 has me holding off for the moment. I'd far prefer to be on Tebow than Stafford but I'll see how this goes

Freshman Jenkins can keep AJ Greens numbers low.

Florida Defense holds Moreno under 100 yds.

This game is in the bag

It seems simple enough

UGA straight up on this one without a doubt.

UF is the most overrated team year after year and are NOT a physical team under Meyer. UGA's D matches up with UF's speed/spread so points will be at a premium for UF. The only physical team they have played this year was Ole Miss and they straight punched them in the mouth. Look for UGA to follow the same blueprint for 4 quarters.

UF's D will not be able to handle the combination of UGA's OL/Green/Moreno. UGA O Coord > UF D Coord.

UF will also put too much emphasis on "blowing" UGA out and will lose focus when things aren't going their way. Smashmouth is the way to beat Georgia and UF is the furthest thing from smashmouth. THIS IS FUNNY:mj07: :mj07:

UGA - 31
UF - 24

Not that Florida fans don't have a good argument. The Gators loss came in September and was by a single point to Ole Miss. Plus, as fans are quick to point out, Tebow and Co. put up 51 points against LSU, only the third time in history that a defending national champion has given up 50-plus (the other two were Notre Dame teams, one a 59-0 loss to Army in 1944, and the 1974 Irish, which lost, 55-24, to USC). Then the Gators made Kentucky look like Washington State. Touting the stingiest defense in the SEC, the then-5-2 Wildcats had allowed 11.9 points per game entering the Swamp and had only given up two rushing touchdowns all season. Florida won, 63-5, and could have put 100 points on the board.

"It was a disaster," Kentucky coach Rich Brooks said afterward. "We just played one of the best teams in the country."

No one is arguing with Brooks, even though Tebow isn't in the Heisman conversation. He's on track to throw for 1,000 fewer yards this year than last, and he's already been sacked 10 times, only three fewer than all of 2007. But a balanced running attack and powerful defense have made the Gators a much better team than they were a year ago.

If my memory serves me GA won by 52.....

I agree Fl cant be physical. I think buying the points put this game closer, but believe the points In Jacksonville are off by 2-4 pts..... GA has lots of injurys or Ga by double digets in this game...

it will take them down

if you want to watch something telling

look at this tape at 2:51 when the Florida back breaks away.

#24 and 29 instead of running to catch him, they run paralllel in hopes of being able to shift over.

Is UGA planning a uniform surprise?
Richt says black?s out, but ?
By CHIP TOWERS

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Thursday, October 30, 2008

Athens ? Mark Richt quashed a rumor that Georgia was going to dress in all-black uniforms Saturday. He played coy, however, with beat reporters when the discussion went to red.

?A blackout? No, man, no,? Richt said.

Richt was then asked if the Bulldogs were going to wear their traditional red jerseys.

?Do you really want to know? Don?t you just want to wait and see? Do you really want me to answer that question? You want me to straight up answer that question??

?Yes,? the reporters said in unison.

?We?re wearing red.?

Richt clammed up when asked if that meant red pants, too.

?We?re going to wear red,? he said with a laugh. ?Put that in the celebration category.?

Richt has declined to discuss last year?s end zone celebration.

Track meet?

Saturday?s matchup features the SEC?s two most prolific offenses, led by quarterbacks of Georgia and of Florida, and a bevy of skill players.

For that reason, prognosticators are expecting a high-scoring track meet.

The over/under Friday was locked at 56.5 points. Most money was going on the over.

Richt said you can never be sure.

?I don?t know what?s going to happen,? he said. ?If you took both of our offenses? averages, it?d be somewhere in the 70s [76.2]. But if you went by the defenses, points allowed, it could be in the 30s [32.1]. All I know is anything can happen in a game like this.?

The bulldogs sound like a bunch of woman.

It aint going to matter what color dress they wear
come Saturday afternoon.
