1st half Ga So -6 ***
Texas St has lost 6 in a row and now has benched the qb who I liked McBride to last yrs starter Vitt. Geo has won the last 3 but last time Tx St came into Stateboro a few yrs back Geo gained over 500 yds rushing. Ga Southern run the option offense and again its hard to play against them because no one uses it . They are 2nd in the Sun conf in offense and rushing. Ga Southern tripe option has a few different looks with spread and multi looks. Wert the qb might be only 5'11 has over 2,500 rushing yds with around 500 this year. He is a 4 year starter and doesn;t turn the ball over. They have 2 solid running backs even though one is missing today. Ga defense is one of the top defenses in the conf No 1 vs the rush. Think Ga So defense can stop the Bobcats offense and Tx defense will be behind the entire game with the ball control of the Eagles offense. Werts will be tough to stop Tx defense is bad anyway and now trying to stop Werts in the backfield will be almost impossible . Tx def backfield is in disarray. With C-19,injuries etc you have corner backs playing safeties,reserves playing safeties and athletes on the bench who were recruited as halfbacks and wr's now playing defense these past 2 weeks. Think even though Werts runs option I could see him pulling up and throwing to some wide outs today.. Tx can't stop the run,ball possession and clock control and think Ga So wins this by at least 3 tds .
