i gotta think if i'm one of georgia state's players and i have an ounce of respect for the lefthander and what he's done for my career i give him my best effort today. i'm thinking i've never seen many coaches who could motivate, prepare and coach like driesell. there's no doubt this game means a lot to him. he always remembers. all hype aside looks like a low scoring game, georgia state hangs in till late, terps probably squeeze it out (but maybe not).

Two words as to why Georgia State not only covers here, but has a great chance to win outright...... Gary Williams...... this guy is a terrible joke when it comes to games that mean anything at all. Those of you with memories longer than your pinkies will remember that Williams used to be in charge at Ohio State. Or, he used to think he was in charge anyway.
To make a short story long, I'd rather back a great coach with an underdog team than a bad coach with a team from a major conference in the NCAAs... Good luck in whatever you decide. Should be a good game..

Red---I agree with that comment totally. Gary Williams, IMO, is a very mediocre basketball coach. In one sentence, if I had to describe Gary Williams teams. "They seem to play to the level of their competition" They have proven that on many occasions this year. Hence, taking care of Duke, but playing horrible against George Mason, Florida St, etc.
I believe that Georgia St. will leave it on the floor today. These guys still have something to prove and I'm looking forward to Shernard Long vs Juan Dixon. Ga St. will hang tough for 30 minutes or so and the terps will pull away late. No cover 72-64...If Ga St. allows up tempo...lights out
I like GA State as well.....but it seems that every forum you enter and every consensus that you look at....the pick is GA State. So tell me------why is the line going up?
