I have already seen a post with a line of 3.5. I am 4-0 playing against the Buckeyes so far this year, and have poked fun at them on this forum for how poorly they play defense and how bad they suck....and they do.
I was expecting a line like 6 or even 7, so I may have to rethink this, but I was going to post a HUGE play on the Bucks at the line of 6 or 7.
Defense is the problem no doubt about it....they have scoring in Sullinger and Stockman, and they have rebounding and an inside presense in Dials. They can win this game if they are intense.
The home crowd should help in that aspect, and the sports radios and all of the radio personalities and I am sure the coaching staff has been all over Tony Stcokmans ass all week saying that he has to guard someone. He hasnt in 4 games now...in fact he did not start the 3rd game of the season in an attempt to light a fire on his ass.
I look for an inspired effort tomorrow night in what will end up being a BIG BET GAME and all of your squares will see 3.5 and see how Georgia Tech has beaten UCONN and Texas Tech and is the NIT champs, and how the Buckeyes have lost to San Fran, San Diego State and struggled to beat two bad teams in Central Michigan and Villanova. This line plays right in the hands of the players and not the public.
I will wait and fully expect to get 5 at least by gametime and take my chances.
This is not my endorsement of the fact that I think the team is turning the corner.....they have a LONG way to go. But as I am sure many people well know. ANYTHING can happen on a capable teams home court. Ohio State has stunk but they are capable. Georgia Tech is going to be a little over bet for awhile due to their recent success.
The play has to be Ohio State or if you dont have the faith in them, you HAVE to lay off.
