Well here we are again, a start to a season of wonder and excitement.

I don't wager the first week of the college or NFL as I have to see teams play at least once before I bet on them.

Watched South Carolina play N Carolina the other night. I did not see the dominance I expected to see from a top ten team in South Carolina. Granted they are good and have two QBs that play well. I think it really gets to the QB always looking over their shoulders. Spurrier thinks he gets the most out of them by doing this but I tend to think it hurts the team.

South Carolina has soled running backs that I believe can compete with Georgia's including the threat of a running type QB.

So Saturday night at 8:00 , here comes the Georgia Bulldogs into Clemson which we all know is a tough place to play with all that orange shit all over.

The Dogs will have no problem adjusting to their offensive schemes and getting the rust off. Gurshall as we here in Georgia like to call the two running backs , could be the key to this game. As always if Georgia can dominate the running game , they win.

If Boyd gets a chance to air it out to his All American receiver and Georgia has no clue, then the Dogs are going down hard.

The defense is where we have no idea how Georgia will handle this game. When Clemson beat LSU last year it really wasn't Boyd being Superman. There was a lot of luck for Clemson in that game. It was down to the wire good luck in a lot of ways.

Boyd is a good QB , but if you get him running for his life he becomes average. Boyd is Clemson's running game and that's a big problem if he gets stuffed and stopped enough.

Its hard to say at the first game dawn, how this will turn out. That's why I am watching.

On the total I would have to say under with all the hype the two offenses have gotten. If the two teams are out of sync for awhile, it should go under the total.

The game I am going to wager on is next week when South Carolina visits UGA. I will have seen both teams play and be ready to rumble.

I will watch a lot of games this weekend.

Alabama should really kick Virginia T hard and beat them like a drum. Alabama's schedule is weak from looking at it. Just a few games where they could misstep. If that happens I will be on it.

Get your boots on and strap on the saddles boys because its time to play some football.

they did.

The huge problem The Georgia defense has is the corners are both freshman. Athletic and focused , but this is the ACC/ SEC top ten level of play, and things are not handed to you on a silver platter.

If Clemson brings their A game of pass and catch
Dogs may have tail under butt going back on the bus to Athens.

well that was a short mess for Georgia

I will say first off that Clemson has a very good team and they could end up not losing a game.
Boyd is a QB that you cannot bring down in the backfield. He is elusive and takes a strong hit.

Clemson defense got moved on but man did they come back in that second half and stuff Murray and make him take the hits. That did not happen last year so Georgia is exposed on the offensive line.

Gurly and Marshall got theirs but were also stopped at times. One thing I cannot stand about the Georgia offense is the way Murray telegraphs the handoffs to the backs. He holds the ball out there for too long and by then everyone on the field knows its a run. I know he does it for sure handed handoffs but that is t-ball.

It was good to see Georgia's wide receivers get a lot of balls caught. Just not enough time for Murray to do what he needed. Murray is not so keen on taking the ball and running like he used to. He did a few times, but I think he knows better now.

M Mitchell Georgia wide receiver hurt his knee when he was celebrating Gurly's TD in the end zone. How fucking stupid is that. Seriously. You don't hurt your team by doing that idiot stuff. Calm down and play like someone with some sense. The game wasn't over. Geeezzz

Georgia defense bent and broke. They did have their starting safety suspended for this game and that put #11 Norton directly in the crosshairs. He made some plays but also got taken to the woodshed.

The freshman corners played well but this defense
cost Georgia the game overall.

Did anyone notice how long this game took. That seemed to go on and on and it was still the first half. That usually don't happen when I am watching a game.

So now comes South Carolina into Athens next week. Georgia has to win and its as simple as that.
Georgia always plays with a new attitude at home.
From what I see they are capable of beating SC as long as Gurly and Marshall are 100%

Thanks for the football games finally starting
