Watched Georgia play Buffalo and I was not impressed with the Georgia team overall.

I cannot bring myself to play a side on this game but I will go ahead and play the over even though I reduce my risk with the points.

The way Buffalo ran thru the Georgia defense at times, I cant even imagine how they are going to try to stop the Missouri QB and their multiple receiver sets.

Missouri's defense is also not up to par.

Georgia should score alot of points.

I see a shootout.

I agree I thought total would be closer to 58 or 60. I like Georgia to cover the pts. though Mizzou is going to be terrible this year in the SEC. They will be lucky to get to .500 in conference

Mizzou DT Sheldon Richardson was asked whether or not he watched Georgia's game earlier on Saturday before his game.

"I watched that game. I turned it off, too. ? It's like watching Big Ten football. It's old-man football."

"If we execute," he added, "nobody in this league can touch us. Period."

Missouri is feeling pretty good after their beat down of SE Louisiana 62-10, enough for Richardson to really get this week kicked off right with a little trash talk after a dominating performance over a directional school in Louisiana.

I agree its bullitin board stuff for Ga

But I aint worried about the Missouri defense. They are going to get slammed by Gurly and the running backs.

I want the the Missouri offense to stand tall and be able to run thru the Ga defense. With all the wide outs they got that can catch in that spread offense, things could get bad for Ga to be able to keep up.

At least thats what I hope happens.

Still no word on if suspended Rambo is going to play.

Freshman Todd Gurley is the real deal. All of the talk about how great a player looks in practices and scrimmages doesn?t mean anything if he can?t produce in a game. Todd Gurley more than produced. The freshman had a 10-yard touchdown run on Georgia?s first possession, a 100-yard kickoff return later in the first quarter and a 55-yard touchdown run in the fourth. He finished with 100 yards on only eight carries and would?ve gained even more if he hadn?t left the game for a while with cramps. He ran with power, but also showed elusiveness and speed. If there were questions about whether the Bulldogs could replace the talents of Isaiah Crowell, the concerns were eased by the freshman. :00hour

2. The Bulldogs? perceived strength (defense) has some issues. Georgia was missing five starters on defense ? one because of injury (cornerback Malcolm Mitchell?s sprained ankle), two because of legal issues (cornerback Sanders Commings and linebacker Chase Vasser) and two because of reported failed drug tests (safety Bacarri Rambo and linebacker Alec Ogletree). But that doesn?t excuse how soft the Dogs looked at times against Buffalo. The Bulls had touchdown drives of 75, 94 and 75 yards. They rushed for 147 yards in the first half alone (199 in the game). That had little to do with the absences and everything to do with a defensive front that should?ve dominated an inferior opponent.:00hour its raining points falling from the sky

3. Quarterback Aaron Murray needs to be better. Murray avoided turnovers, but he was off target for much of the game. He finished with 258 yards and three touchdowns, but completed only 15 of 26 attempts and twice overthrew Tavarres King for potential scores. In rare public criticism, even coach Mark Richt said of one of Murray?s overthrows, ?You get a guy open on a post like that, you have to hit it.?
Murray will settle down in this game.

alot on the line for Georgia to step up and win this game. They have a weak schedule and a win here and they could put themselves in a hella position.

Was shocked myself when I saw Buffalo had scored 23 I believe. But I do know Geo missing a few and was probably looking ahead to the Missouri game. Who knows for sure.

We have a lot of playmakers on this team, and I?m talking about defense and special teams, too,? Franklin said. ?That takes a lot of pressure off the offense. Any time you can change a game with one play, that?s a huge help in getting the momentum flowing your way.?

Missouri QB James Franklin said he will continue to run despite having to regularly face rugged defenses in the SEC.
Franklin made quite a name for himself as a playmaker a year ago in the Big 12. In his first season as the starter, Franklin made a run at 3,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing. He ended the season with 2,865 passing yards and 21 touchdowns, while rushing for 981 yards and a team-leading 15 touchdowns.

?He?s one of those guys that the more you watch him play, the more he impresses you with everything he can do,? said Missouri senior receiver T.J. Moe, the Tigers? leading receiver last season. ?He can beat you a number of different ways.?

Franklin, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound junior, thinks the same can be said for this entire team.

?It?s a huge comfort level for me, that I have the playmakers around me who are capable of getting so much done,? Franklin said. ?It?s really nice as a quarterback knowing that you don?t have to make the perfect throw or the perfect read on every play. With the guys I have around me, you hand it off or throw it 5 or 10 yards and they?re going to turn it into a big play.?

Franklin wasn?t called on to do much in the 62-10 season-opening rout of Southeastern Louisiana. He threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Moe to open the Tigers? scoring, but was done by the midway point of the third quarter.

Missouri scored four non-offensive touchdowns in the game, including punt returns of 72 and 70 yards by sophomore tailback Marcus Murphy. Senior tailback Kendial Lawrence, who was slowed by a cracked fibula early last season, also had a 76-yard touchdown run.

Defensively, the Tigers aren?t very big, but they?re fast and added an interception return and fumble return for touchdowns last week.

For Franklin?s part, he wants to be more consistent this season, and he knows that will have to start this weekend against No. 7 Georgia. The Bulldogs were hard on opposing quarterbacks last season and had a stretch where they knocked several out of games.

?I want to be smarter with the ball and do the little things to get the ball in my playmakers? hands,? said Franklin, who threw 11 interceptions last season. ?I just want to be more consistent as a player and not have as many ups and downs.?

And, yes, he still plans to run when the situation calls for it ? even against SEC defenses.

The only way this doesn't hit is if UGA completely shuts them down. I would have to imagine that they showed very little to nothing defensively except a base package vs Buff. I would expect to see them open the playbook up and get after it this week. Having said that, no way in hell I could touch the under. GL

Big reason for this wager is that I believe that UGA was trying hard to stomp Buffalo and could not do it.

The run plays by the Buffalo QB for gains was just pathetic.

Wait until Missouri sends out 6 WR

Place is going to be a madhouse.

Would disagree with that given Richts track record. I doubt they wanted to give up yards and points like that, but as apposed to showing their "cards", I imagine they are fine with it. I have absolutely zero confirmation, but I did read on a couple of forums that Rambo and Ogletree are on the plane. Wouldn't think they would go if not playing, but again just what I read.

I would hope the refs would throw a flag for too many men on the field. Unless there is a new play where one of the 5 o-lineman can throw them a pass.

GL on your play though, looks good on paper.

1. Get on the right side

2. Reduce your risk

3. Don't be a homer

4. Reduce the plays you make.

5. Reduce or do not play the college football games Mon-Fri. These games are for action.

6. When you lose, don't chase late plays.

7. Do not handcuff yourself with one type of wager. Be versatile.

8. No woman, No children

9. Cash the ticket.

I heard on the radio this afternoon that these two suspended players will not play.

Georgia backfield will be porus again.

Richt - On importance of Saturday?s game . . .

?We don?t want to start out behind. You never want to start out behind the eight ball and getting into a chase mode right off the bat. I don?t think anyone wants to be sitting there at the first game in league play relying on people to help us get to the SEC Championship game. It?s huge. All SEC games do count so much, and the first one especially is big. If you win it, it hopefully creates momentum for you and gives you a chance to continue to control your own destiny in the race to Atlanta. I?m sure everybody is thinking the same way.?
...............................................................

Honestly I hope that Georgia gets behind 21-0
and has to scratch and claw to get back in the game.

If that happens, then this wager wins.
