Have to agree with volfan. Looking at stats to pick a side is just not smart. I'm not touching this game, but I would probably lean towards UT -3. UGA has played no one yet, and this will be their first real test. Let's not forget UT has played both UF and LSU on the road! They will be hungry for a big home win. UGA has only played one game on the road at MSU, and they looked very unimpressive.

Some of you may not know this but the Georgia fans had brought in many boxes of sugar cubes.
When the Bulldogs won the whole crowd was throwing the cubes in the air/
When Larry Munson got hit in the head with a sugar cube he made that remark.

I never look at just stats to make a play. It is a accumulation of many differant facts and ideas that leads me to victory.
When this game is over, I will meet you on Glory Rd. It runs right off of Victory Lane and that is where I live.
Tennessee's offense, supposedly deep and talented on the line and at receiver, is eighth in the SEC in total offense (330.8 yards per game) and 10th in scoring (20.2).
The Vols have shown no big-play capability, but then again they rarely throw the ball downfield.
Will this offense ever erupt for four quarters this season? It never really happened consistently last season, either, until the Vols got to face weaker defenses late in the year.

I like Georgia...
This game reminds me of the Gator-Bama game.
Gators were projected to beat the tide...but we saw that Alabama is for real.
Granted that Bama was at home unlike Georgia in this case.
I think the Bulldogs are for real and they will take care of business Saturday.
I also think Georgia can get the jump on this team by scoring early...The Vols always seem to struggle early in games against good teams.
If that is the case in this game i don`t see the Vols making up the ground in this game.

You know what though. Since I posted that Rocky Top song all day yesterday I couldn't get it out of my head. I was singing it in the damn truck on the way to calls. Not sure if that is a good thing.

This may end up being one of the most important stats listed. The way I see it is that when Tenn runs to the left 4.4 and then a run up the middle gets 4.4 well thats 8.8.
Its simple math....
What that tells me is that Tenn is going to be in alot of third down situations just about all game.9 yards and short. Ug Oh .. Or should I just say Ugga Ohhh.....
