go to direct tv forum....I got a deal this year $150 for the year...there are deals out there you just have to work w/rep on phone....I had 10 inches of snow and no problem w/dish

she does driveways and walkways..
refuses to climb on the roof..

roof is ok if it is the only place you can get signal..can usually be installed near the eaves for easy access to knock the snow off when you have to..
be carefull about placing it in the yard if you have kids..once installed they don't budge much at the base of them..like running into a chain-link pole in the ground
nah all u need to do is bump it up to the south side of the house 4 to 5 feet off the ground
