I know what you're thinking, Clemson sucks! They do, and generally I play against them despite the fact that I'm a season ticket holder.

Here's why I like em tonight.

Game is at Virginia...historically a tough building to play in where games are fairly low scoring and defense and rebounding are key. Two things Clemson will do well with tonight.

Clemson is without starting forward Milton Jennings (suspended indefinitely). This means we'll see a lot more of 7'2" Catalina Baciu. His length will cause a problem for UVA. I see him finishing with something around 10 pts and 6-7 boards which in a low scoring game means a
lot.

I think this game is won by the team that gets out to the first 6-7 point lead. Fewer possessions will limit the ability to come from behind and both of these teams like to milk the play clock.

I'm playing this as a 5* and may even take the Tigers ML.

parlaying UVa -7 with any other plays i make tonight. clemson sucks on the road and UVa may not allow them to score 40. you're underestimating how good UVa is and forgetting how bad clemson is on the road.

And for the record, I rarely bet for Clemson to cover! But this one just feels right. If I'm wrong, I'll get my satisfaction in knowing a former fellow Charlestonian/Tiger made some loot by taking the Wahoos and can afford to buy his lady a few more shots of Patron at Taco Boy!
