Kansas City area for who knows how long....
probably why no lines up for these games and can't pounce on CWS and Houston overnite. taking Houston for sure---

from AP:

The Astros will face a diluted lineup in the series finale.

"Everybody will get the day off, that will give us two days off," Giants manager Felipe Alou said. "Some of the guys really need it."

The Giants are looking forward to going home.

Be sure to check Yanks lineup for Wed, they clinched it and will certainly rest some and relax---from official site, 9/22:

Home sweet home? The Yankees are very close to clinching home-field advantage throughout the postseason, but Torre isn't going to go all-out to make sure that his team has that edge. Last season, the Yankees played every game down to the wire in the fight for home field, edging Oakland by a half-game.

But Torre believes that the intensity of that final week may have taken a toll on some of his pitchers, who were not as well-rested as normal heading into the playoffs, where New York was eliminated by Anaheim in four games.

"I don't think home-field advantage is as important as having your club ready for the postseason. Last year, we may have pushed our pitchers too much," Torre said. "It's not that I don't want home-field, because there's no saying that we're not going to win. It's not like we're going to be throwing games."

Yanks are a rotten 7-11 as dogs this year, with 3 of those wins coming against Pedro, who is notoriously sketchy against the Bombers...

FYI

Sweating the 'Stros...I want to hop on em, but waiting til I see the lineup. Listening to Yankees raido before the game, I ought to be able to get a feel for the lineup, I can post if anyone's interested.

Let's Have Fun!

:( Not rippin you, but I hope your not wagering much hard earned income? The Astros lost last night to give the Cubbies a game up on them for the Division Crown.
Motivation you would think would be at its highest:eek:
