Giants at Cardinals Sunday Help Please.

i show giants or nothing. if you cant bet the giants then enjoy the game and lay-off. not real strong but in wouldnt bet the cards.gl and have fun

Cards should win the game....but due to them get hammered by the pub I wouldnt/am not playing it......but since you are in the area. If they do lose today and let San Fran take 2 outta 3 from them AT HOME...dont purchase anymore tickets this year:142smilie
This game is a great example of why I rarely bet on bases. Braden Looper just gets absolutely destroyed by arguably the worst offense in baseball. I'm not saying he's Cy Young, but he shouldn't have had a problem with that lineup. Anybody who says they saw that coming is a liar, or crazy, or both. :mj07:
Very nice call. I didn't bet this game, but I came pretty close to playing the Cards on the RL. After losing yesterday and facing Sanchez today, I thought they would put some runs up. And I never expected Looper to get crushed like that. You obviously saw something most people didn't. Good job.

cards have played real well this season so far. but i dont think they are all that good. they were shut-out yesterday which means noone was hitting.and so far today the hitting is nowhere to be found again. they maybe a good fade until they get it going again. ths line also jumped up alot and vegas knw they would get there attention,especially on a sunday. good luck everyone

Would the public being all over the game have anything to do with it?? Looks like the RANGERS are gonna take out Boston also, surprise surprise but theres probasbly enough juice and bets lost there for the books to have an awesome day as MOST FORUMS I visited had the CARDS as easy money and the BoSOx as well? I just mention I am not saying the books made Looper get hammered but these big juice teams especially on Sundays have a way of blowing it. Baseball seems no diff then any other sport better off fading the public and taking the dogs as the BIG WINS will cover the small losses that come in between:shrug:

I don't know about the Cards loss but the BoSox loss doesn't surprise me at all. I rant and rave on this forum all the time about how the Red Sox hitters just don't show up for a lot of games. They have talent, but it's like they have no focus sometimes. Either that or they're just collecting a paycheck. A good example was yesterday's game... they got dominated by Jason Jennings. That guy is horrible. They pulled the game out late when the Rangers bullpen came in and imploded, but Boston probably should have lost yesterday.
Today's game is similar to yesterday's game. Millwood isn't nearly as bad as Jennings, but he's not very good either. And yet they could only muster one run off of him. They have a little more of an excuse today though. Look at the lineup they threw out there. It looks like the manager decided today's game was a throwaway game. Give the starters some rest and hope you get lucky and pull out a win. Very common to see a lot of the starters sit on Sundays, but I don't think the Sox had much of a chance today.

EDIT -- It looks like Millwood ended up giving up 2 runs, not one. Another run scored after he left the game.

Glenn you are correct and its so sad to say that ALOT of teams in professional sports in general just pick up checks on Monday and go through the motions, only time they feel the need to perform is when they are facing another "elite" team. It really has taken the spunk out of "professional" sports and thats a good reason why alot of the older records wont be touched when it comes to TEAM PERFORMANCES, back then they played for the GAME and loved to do so, now they are more then happy to be mediocre and very well paid. Part of the reasoning I LOVE TO WATCH KOBE BRYANT, he loves the game and thrives to be the best....who is that guy in baseball, football, or any other "professional" sport.....Tiger Woods? Kobe may be a little cocky at times but he goes out and walks th walk also:SIB
Looks like the Red Sox are trying to pull another win from the jaws of defeat. :scared Or maybe the Rangers bullpen is just trying to choke away another easy W. Somebody should tell the Sox games are 9 innings long. If they played with this kind of intensity all game instead of just the last couple of innings, they would be unbeatable.
I want to see them play hard a full 9 innings, no matter who they're playing. I obviously can't argue with wins/losses; they usually get it done when they have to. It's just frustrating for me to watch a team with that much talent seem to go through the motions for such huge stretches of the game.

thanks for the input guys...Had to leave at the crack of dawn Sunday and just got back tonight. Took in the game and played in a golf scramble today. I knew Looper was due for a stinker and has had poor luck against SF in the past. I couldn't bet against my team , so just took the over. Luckily the Cards finally got a couple runs in the bottom of the ninth..Don't know what I watched more in the ball park. THe game, or all the hot MILFS...
