GIANTS/CARDINALS Under 8.5 -125 - After the Over went an incredible 14-1 in the first 15 post-season games, some normalcy has returned the last 2 nights with a couple of well-pitched games. These teams have a history of low scoring affairs, with the Under going 7-1-1 in the last 9 head-to-head meetings. Morris tossed a gem in the opening game of the Arizona series, allowing only 1 earned run on 7 hits in 7 innings, marking his 8th Quality Start out of his last 10 starts overall. More importantly, he has been absolutely magnificent in his 5 career starts vs. San Francisco, allowing a TOTAL of 6 runs in 34 innings. He allowed just 1 run in his 2 starts vs. the Giants this season. Rueter did not pitch well in his only playoff start in Atlanta, but I am looking for a nice bounce-back effort tonight. He was a stellar 9-4 with a 3.87 ERA on the road this season, and Rueter is working on an amazing streak of 10 consecutive Quality Starts vs. St. Louis. He faced the Cardinals once this season and allowed 0 earned runs in 7.1 innings.
