I follow football as close as anyone and I don't remember him as a player. There is a skill to providing analysis on a game, even if you know what you're talking about, to not come across as a pompous know-it-all, as he does. He needs to polish his delivery somewhat. Also, color guys don't need to talk every millisecond, as Mayock does.
