Global warming is a total hoax. It works well with the "Going Green" sales scheme that is popular right now.

10 years ago everything was "Anti-bacterial". Another great government/business move.

Hell, in the 1950's smoking cigerettes was claimed to clear your lungs out for easier breathing.

Keep drinkin the Kool Aid America. Slackers wanting a handout. :nono:

Most of the less intelligent posters in this thread, yourself included, have overlooked my point that whether global warming exists or not, that our $$ is better served addressing the energy crisis than occupying foreign soil. You mention others are drinking global warming kool-aid, but your head is in the sand concerning our energy crisis.

No I do not think that Global warming exist and yes money should be used to explore different methods of energy.

Duff is pretty good with his crayons too.

Cie... Many left-leaning Independents have been using the "Even if we're wrong about the "cause" of climate change, it's good policy to pursue alternative energies because of our dependency on foreign oil" argument for years. What befuddles so many of us is why this issue is so politicized for the very reason you, and as I mentioned, many others, have posited. I understand why many right-wing politicians oppose alternative energies. They're beholding to their Big Oil masters and Big Oil is big business in many of their districts and States. What I don't understand is how the larger Republican base fails to recognize how they're being coerced into supporting an energy policy that undermines our national security, our economy and our environment.

You're not even on point. The argument isn't whether climate change is real. That argument's settled. The argument is whether the climate change experienced over the past 130 years is the result of the burning of fossil fuels or whether it's within the natural climatic cycles of our planet.

First of all, you only say this because Rush asked you to.

Secondly, you missed a very simple point.

Anyway, lol, great original post CG. Another point is it is better to be safe then sorry. Is this not the same logic that some use for our military adventures?
