My son and daughter-in-law the Vegan's have convinced me to try a Gluten free diet for 30 days. My 33 year old son had been experiencing back pain after his many years of playing hockey. After careful study and talking to his Chiropractor he decided to give up Gluten to see if it would help with his back issues. After just 2 months of his Gluten free diets he is pain free and he also lost 20 pounds. From what he tells me Gluten promotes inflammation in the human body and his lack of Gluten promoted less swelling in the back and joints. So far so good for me, I'll see if I can get through the weekend without any kind of wheat???

After 4 full days I didn't feel stiff this morning when I woke up. Usually in the morning after getting out of bed my knees and lower back are a little stiff. This morning I was much less then usual. Taking into comsideration that I am 65 I'd say the Gluten free thing might be helping out my joints???

Been on one for 3 months. Dr thought I had celiac disease but test came back negative so he thinks I am gluten sensitive? The hard part of it is going out to eat and the beer drinking. The only gluten free beer I found any good is a beer out of Boulder Colorado. Wine is greta and I try to have a regular beer now and then. Had no problems since being on it. Easy to find may good gluten free foods in the local grocery store and at a Whole Foods grocery near by. A little more expensive but good. GL
