Just heard on the home broadcast that Rangers starter Brandon McCarthy scheduled to only throw 30-50 pitches. They say it's more like 30, and that the bullpen is expected to throw 7 innings.

Just fyi

I imagine yes. The starters for the Tigers were pulled by the fifth inning of this game to rest them for the 2nd game.

Pudge was a little sore from last night, but figures to catch tonight from what the Rangers announces said.

Rubi - no problem. Hopefully it's useful one way or another. I may look into the Tigers team total.

Announcers didn't mention that. Their main point was that this game is essentially a "rehab" start for McCarthy.

Sorry.

Drew, what you playing?

I plan to play Det-167 & Det -1' RL+125

If I play this game, it will be Tigers o 5.5 runs. I'll have to wait and see their starting lineup. I would imagine that Polanco, Pudge, and Sheff are in the lineup along with Guillen, Granderson, and Maggs.

Too many other plays I like tonight more though.

I'm really shocked that the Rangers pen pitched 7 shutout innings. The BP is good, but man, that was solid.

Congrats Detroit ML and RL backers.:00hour
