posting tonight, as i may not get to a computer tomorrow. this is my favorite play still on the board.

tulsa (-3) 3 units. dammit, i should have played this game earlier, when tulsa was the dog. after 4 bowl games, people are finally realizing just how awful the mac was this year. (i've said it before, and i'll say it again... it's a real shame the mac gets all these bowl teams now, when they suck. 5 - 6 years ago, when the mac was very, very good, they were LUCKY to get 2 bowl teams. no justice.) i think ball state's offense is the real deal. they will put up lots of points against tulsa's... defense? can you still call it a defense if they don't defend anything? anyways, the flip side of the coin is that ball state's defense is also awful. and i think their disappointment at losing the mac championship game and a shot at a bigger bowl will cause enough lack of focus that they will stop themselves just a few more times than tulsa.

over (74.5) 1 unit. i don't know, maybe this is just way too obvious. but this is one of the rare times i fully anticipate the expected track meet to play out. the ball will be flying all over the field against two bad, bad defenses.

thanks for the kind words, gw. now please stop flirting with me; i'm spoken for. :)

to paraphrase al (ar182)... tailing me can be hazardous to your wallet. heck, that might even be the direct quote.

anyways... if i was smart, i'd only post my best plays. they normally do very well. mississippi over texas tech was the biggest hit of my life. and if i was really smart, i'd only PLAY my best plays. but that would require a lot more discipline than i currently have.

thanks, woodson. good luck to you, too.

it's never easy, is it? ok, tulsa was easy. but that was the rare exception.
