First off congrats on N Iowa. I had Creighton. My queston is what did you see in N. Iowa to not only play em but also on the $$$ line. I played the game earlier before seeing your post or would have layed off of the game. Again very nice hit on the game.

thanks for the words. everyone with the winning side looks omniscient after the game is played. im certainly anything but that; however, i did like uni for a few reasons:

* uni a very solid fundamental team (FT shooting, 3pt shooting, and a low turnover average- they dont beat themselves). theyre a sleeper in the mvc.

* uni beating iowa earlier this year on this floor did a lot for their confidence, as theyve won each home game since that iowa game by double digits

* creighton hadnt played well their last 2 games. thats a big reason why i had to pull the trigger. jays needed a rally to win in illinois state (didnt lead until the final 0:01) and played uninspired vs drake the next time out.

like i said, anyone with the winning side looks smarter after the fact. maybe it was dumb luck. but i just liked the fact that uni has played well at home lately, been very efficient in the fundamental departments, and creighton has been dodging some bullets the last week or so. almost due to catch up with em.
