Gman, any thoughts on Detroit/Butler?

given detroit's struggles without cotton, i'm leaning towards laying the points with butler, but i'd love to hear any insight you may have.

they cant set the total low enough imo. number dropped from 119.5 down to 117. i see the number is up to 13.5 now. without cotton, its going to be awfully tough for detroit to score points. their defense is what can keep them in this though. butler could easily dominate this game but fail to cover. these two teams have a history of some really tight games though, and thats not surprising considering how theyre both half court teams and possessions are at a premium. no opinion on the side. lean to the under.

gman, thank you. if you read my thread, you know that my lean turned into a stronger play for me. i really like the fact that butler, with the same starting 5 as they have this year, beat detroit at home last year by 15. and that was with cotton scoring 22. i just don't see detroit generating much scoring. although you're right... it is a lot of points to lay in what should be a game dominated by the defenses.
