wont be payin to see it (cuz its gonna be an ugly game)
but im gonna give csu a shot on the moneyline.
i think we can all accept this to be true: cleveland state is terrible
having said that, im pretty convinced theyre gonna find a way to win the final home game in the career of jermaine robinson. garland and the vikings have been talking about that being their goal for the last month of the season.
theyve come incredibly close, losing to wisc-green bay at the buzzer and butler at the buzzer, both on last second shots. (edit: redundant statement, huh?)
i really think this is a game where emotion is gonna matter. eastern michigan is decent, but theyve got no business laying road chalk, even to a bad csu team.
one thing i will say for csu: theyre still playing hard. about a month ago, i questioned their effort vs wisconsin-milwaukee (when they totally mailed in the 2h against the panthers. im sure you remember)
caught the uic-csu game live last saturday. first 10:00 of the game were brutal and i was questioning my decision to pay even 8 bucks. but they competed and made a rally and gave uic a scare.
robinson has been an important part of a struggling program for the L4 years. somehow, some way i think csu wins the game for him.
definitely a game where im sure stats will favor emu, especially if given a cursory glance. but i think csu will get that game somehow.
im amazed that espn didnt want to pick up this game for their full court pay-per-view package. you mean to tell me theres not a high demand to see a game between a 10-12 and a 3-21 team in front of about 1800 people?
