nice article

could have gone down as best rock band ever if they stayed together long enough. my personal favorite. unfortunately you are right, the comeback won't happen. interesting read that they had a tiff with cobain. never knew that.

appetite for destruction still sneds shivers through me today. is there a better album out there where every single song is good. i don't think so.
axl has always had an underated voice. great singer for a rocker.

wonder what their bar tabs used to be back in the day???

I have always said the same exact thing.

I wonder what the biggest mystery is:

1. How in the world he could throw all that away

2. The fact that he held it together for the couple years he did

Damn shame.....

Just curious if anyone knows... the article mentioned that Appetite was the second-best selling rock debut album of all-time. What's No. 1?

Almost every band that had blow-up albums during my fomative years all had smaller albums before releasing the one that hit paydirt (Nirvana, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, etc.). Pearl Jam's Ten is the only one that comes to mind as a possible No. 1.

Favourite band for mine! Wouldn't be the same without slash, duff, and the other boys but looking forward to hearing the new album to see what axl has left in the tank. Solid article.
