cavs couldn't pull it out, Lakers give up 116 to Clev and get lit up by the scoring phenom known as Ricky Davis. How the **** does that happen, no Murray and the lakers can't put them away. this is a team that was pounded by the Celts on a off night for the green. Sac seems like one of the only teams that consistently finishes off a team in the fourth. Lakers consistently fold up the tent after 3, never put anyone away.

LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Shaquille O'Neal had 19 points and eight rebounds despite sitting out the last 16 minutes, and Rick Fox equaled a season-high with 18 points Tuesday night as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the short-handed Cleveland Cavaliers 121-116.

Kobe Bryant, the only Los Angeles starter to play in the fourth quarter, had 17 points and seven rebounds. The Lakers (50-20) won for the 15th time in 19 games and remained one-half game behind Sacramento in the race for the NBA's best record.

Lakers coach Phil Jackson, mindful his team plays Wednesday night at Phoenix, benched Bryant with 7:13 left and went with reserves the rest of the way, and it almost backfired.
