Among Libtards!!
I agree.....winning the whole freaking game and then that happens. WTF was Beamer thinking the last 2 times VT had the ball.....they go for a bomb on 3rd and long both times which stopped the clock and probably saved BC a good minute or more....terrible clock management when you are up 10 with under 4 minutes to play and you make decisions like that.

So. Cal
they lost the game on offense by not putting bc away and by not running more time off the clock

then they compound it by going soft on the first td drive and allow a 92 yard drive in about 2 mins after allowing 150 yards for 56 mins

then they follow that up with a botched on sides kick that should be handled cleanly and could have actually been run back for a td if handled cleanly and the guy stays on his feet to make the recovery instead of trying to recover it on his knees

then they compund that by allowing another easy drive, capping it off by having a d-lineman in coverage and allowing a rb get behind him on 3rd and 20 in a breakdown play.......why was everyone sprinting to tackle ryan??? let him run it, no way he gets 20 yards and it's 4th down.

I've been saying the same thing all year long in both college and pros. Pay attention to how many teams lay down on defense in the 4th quarter once they get up by more than one score. It's unreal. I can't think of a single team that closes out games. They usually win by having the clock run out before the other team can come back and take the lead. Tonight was one of those rare instances where the clock DIDN'T run out and, like you said, VT ABSOLUTELY deserved to lose that game. Not happy about losing the bet but knowing that they have to live with that loss makes me feel a lot better.

Great point. I was forgetting about the Pats. And that's why I say I respect the way they play the game. It's nice to see a team actually try to WIN the game rather than just hand the ball off 3 times in a row, play prevent defense and hope the other team doesn't score enough points to take the lead before the clock runs out.
