Today was a good day. Went to the beach, got some good rides, and won some money!! By the stats of the game, Troy dominated in all aspects of the game. Why didn't they win by more? They must have continued their sloppy play into the second half I guess.

Hawaii might be my one strong pick this week for this week. They are a much better team than vegas thinks. But according to the line movement, people are seeing that Hawaii is underrated as well. They are getting better and better with each week. Among the biggest improvements is their defense. Many of Hawaii's players have seem to be having some breakout seasons with Glanville's arrival. Freshman are also seeming to step thing up and make some plays for the defense as well as offense. Hawaii QB Brennan is also getting better and better. His scrambling ability seems to fustrate opposing defenses, but that also one of the things June Jones thinks he needs to work on. As in scrambling for 3-4 yards, he could have stayed in the pocket a little longer and hit the 3rd option that was open, which he missed when he was scrambling for yards. When Brennan does learn from Jones to wait and find that 3rd open option, he will be a very dangerous QB. Being that he just began learning this offense in August (as he just transfered fro JuCo) I say he has a lot more to learn and improve and he is already putting up good numbers. Anyways enough of my rambling about Hawaii, I'll get to your question. Hawaii's morale is very much up as they know that their mistakes can be easily corrected. As I mentioned in the other thread, special teams hurt Hawaii is not beating Boise State. They had a blocked FG returned for a TD, Boise St running for a first down on like 4th and 9 by their punter (which led to a Boise TD), a 92 yard Boise St punt return for a TD, and lets not forget about the blocked extra point (which would have sent the game into overtime) that got returned for 2 points in favor of Boise. Granted Boise State also made a couple of mistakes, but nothing as severe as hawaii's faults on special teams. One thing is special teams can easily be fixed. Hawaii knows they dominated in all aspects of the game but special teams, thus they still will build upon that and it will carry over to this week. Like I mentioned in past posts, Hawaii's road woes are over. Also a thing to note is home field advantage only favors teams with a strong fan base or a cheat smurf turf. La Tech has neither as there was a little less than 18,000 people at their previous home game. To me the more I looka t this game, the more I like it. But remember this is gambling and anything can happen. Just know that this will probably be one of my bigger plays this week. Also looking at Colorado, Texas, and Missouri.
