Just picked up The Sporting News NCAA annual and started flipping thru it...wtf.
In the Pac-10 they have Wazzu projected at 9th. It could very well play out that way but I see them more in the middle-of-the-pack...7th. I think the Cougars are a sleeper again this yr.
WAC preveiw has Utah St. in 4th place. No way, I have them as the dark horse to unseat consensus fave Nevada. I believe they'll finish in 2nd. La Tech will also finish higher than 6th.
MWC ...they're a mess. Who knows what'll happen in that conf.
WCC - another tough league to figure out. St. Mary's and USD can both surprise and give a token challenge to Gonzaga.
Big West...def. think UCSB will finish higher than 6th.
In the Big Sky, I understand why TSN would pick Montana St. to win it all but think intrastate rival Montana takes the crown.
