Martin Brodeur, New Jersey Devils - Brodeur is the probable starter for Monday's game against the Panthers.

Felix Potvin, Los Angeles Kings - Potvin is the probable starter for Monday's game against the Sharks.

Evgeni Nabokov, San Jose Sharks - Nabokov is the probable starter for Monday's game against the Kings.

Jose Theodore, Montreal Canadiens - Theodore is the probable starter for Monday's game against the Flames.

player info

Steve Yzerman, Detroit Red Wings - Yzerman participated in a full practice Sunday, his first this season, in anticipation of a hopeful return later this year. He looked good and will accompany the Wings on a couple road trips later this month so he can continue to practice with his teammates.

Mathieu Schneider, Los Angeles Kings - Schneider tried to skate on Sunday, but came off the ice rather quickly as his groin injury continues to bother him. He will attempt once again to skate and play on Monday against the Sharks, but his status is listed as questionable.

Owen Nolan, San Jose Sharks - Nolan, suffering from some sort of a groin injury that he incurred late last week, is questionable for Monday's game against the Kings. However, in some discouraging news, there is speculation that Nolan's injury could be related to his back, which is troublesome since he has had a rough history with such ailments in the past. The Sharks are denying this so we'll take their word on it.

Radim Vrbata, Colorado Avalanche - Vrbata was a healthy scratch for Sunday's game, which isn't surprising as the young winger as struggled mightily as of late. With most of the Avs' regular forwards finally healthy and performing, Vrbata wasn't getting as many quality opportunities as earlier in the season which contributed to his three points in the last 25 games. You should definitely consider cutting Vrbata if you own him in any yearly leagues, but hold onto him in keeper leagues.

Phil Housley, Chicago Blackhawks - Housley did not play on Sunday against the Predators due to the flu and his status for Monday's match against the Wings is questionable.

Calle Johansson, Washington Capitals - Johansson left Saturday's game against the Panthers in the second period with minor back pain, but the veteran defenceman is expected to play Monday against the Islanders.

Mario Lemieux, Pittsburgh Penguins - Although he did accompany his teammates to Boston, Lemieux did not practice on Sunday and is unlikely to play on Monday against the Bruins. Furthermore, he remains uncertain about his availability for Wednesday's game against the Hurricanes.

Brian Leetch, New York Rangers - Leetch told the New York Post that the lack of progress in his bruised ankle is worrisome but that multiple doctors have assured him that he will be able to play again this season. The injury was originally expected to keep him out of the lineup for about a week, but even though there is no break or fracture, he will miss his 19th straight game Monday when the Rangers play the Leafs.

Oleg Tverdovsky, New Jersey Devils - Tverdovsky is expected back in the lineup for Monday's game against the Panthers. He has missed five consecutive games due to battling the after-effects of a virus.

Joe Thornton, Boston Bruins - Thornton has been released from hospital after spending the night there due to an elbow infection, but is doubtful for Monday's contest against the Penguins.
