Martin Gerber, Anaheim Mighty Ducks - Gerber will be the starter for Sunday's game against the Canucks, reports the LA Times.

Dan Cloutier, Vancouver Canucks - Cloutier will be the starter for Sunday's game against the Mighty Ducks, reports CBC.

Craig Anderson, Chicago Blackhawks - Anderson is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Oilers.

Tommy Salo, Edmonton Oilers - Salo is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Blackhawks. We'll try and get an update on this one later because Jussi Markkanen could start again to give Salo additional rest before the playoffs.

Martin Brodeur, New Jersey Devils - Brodeur is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Islanders. Corey Schwab is still hurt so you might as well consider Brodeur as a confirmed starter.

Garth Snow, New York Islanders - Snow is the probable starter for Sunday's game against the Devils.

Arturs Irbe, Carolina Hurricanes - Coach Paul Maurice confirmed to the Raleigh News-Observer that Irbe is indeed suffering from a broken bone in his right hand. How he suffered the injury is not known, but it's quite the coincidence that both Hurricanes goalies have injured right hands.

Curtis Joseph, Detroit Red Wings - Joseph did not start Saturday against the Blues because coach Dave Lewis wants him rested for the playoffs and because he wants to keep Manny Legace sharp. Lewis told the Detroit News that Joseph will get virtually all the starts in the playoffs and he doesn't want Legace rusty in case he is needed in the post-season.

player info

Mario Lemieux, Pittsburgh Penguins - Lemieux skated on his own Saturday and reported no problems with his sore back. He hopes to practice Sunday and said if all goes well, he will be back in the lineup for Monday's game against the Penguins.

Phil Housley, Toronto Maple Leafs - Housley, recovering from a broken foot, continues to practice and is targetting a return to the lineup next Saturday.

Shayne Corson, Toronto Maple Leafs - Corson, who has missed the past two games with an intestinal problem, pronounced himself ready to return Saturday evening, saying he will be in the lineup Tuesday against the Devils.

Kip Miller, Washington Capitals - Miller has struggled since coming back from a hand injury and was a healthy scratch for Saturday's game against the Leafs. FYI, in case you were wondering if he re-aggravated his hand injury.

Bill Guerin, Dallas Stars - Guerin is making progress after requiring thigh surgery, but the Stars have no idea when he will resume skating. Our best guess is that he's probably at least a couple of weeks away from returning.

Andreas Johansson, Nashville Predators - Johansson returned to the Predators lineup after missing four games with a bad back but he reinjured it sometime during the second game and was unable to finish the game. This is the second time he has re-aggravated the injury but the Preds' training staff believes that a month of rest will fix the problem for good.

Andy Delmore, Nashville Predators - Delmore was a healthy scratch on Saturday due to his defensive lapses the night before against the Blackhawks. If Delmore's play is of importance to you, you probably already know the drill - he's multi-talented offensively, but defensively, he's a great liability.

David Tanabe, Carolina Hurricanes - Tanabe will require surgery on his injured right shoulder after the season, according to the Raleigh News-Observer. Tanabe should be fine for the start of next season and thus still makes a fine option in keeper leagues.

Colin White, New Jersey Devils - White, who has missed one game so far with a neck strain, did not practice on Saturday and almost surely will not play in Sunday's game against the Islanders.
