I will wholly admit i'm surprised the bronze game isnt for the GOLD, but that said the parity isnt shocking ...


Gino's boys played brilliantly and USA shooting was back to earth; Wade ended up being terrible OFF player in OLYs and the other 2 rooks were basically useless ... anyhow, that all said, I dont see the USA being too keyed for LITH and 3rd place--and both teams I'm sure were looking past their opps to a degree ... IMHO this game will mean more to LITH tho usa has revenge motif ... I think the game will be app. EVEN for the line and will take LITH, Larry might even play the bench liberally

as for the GOLD medal, I will back my PASTAS, who once again proved to be guttiest team in show ... they were up 10 after 3q vs LITH and gave up 16 straight before scoring 20 pts in 5 mins ... that was an incredible game, I hope some of you got to watch ...I love GINO and his boys but Umberto could be out (not sure there) and I cant go against Italy ... However, I hate picking against the best player left and the team who lost first time around by 1 ...

AGAIN, I see this game as EVEN

searching a half forgotten small bet I discovered I had taken ARG +800 last week for peanuts ... so I took Italy +165 for about half the amount ... I think Italy will win but they will be coming off huge emotions and hitting 18 treys--this is a damn tuff game to cap; Gino is best player in tourney IMO (versatile and as a Ronco gadget) and that's tuff to go against, again, check Umberto's hand ...


as far as the USA, I took Lith +1.5 and think they will just be more focused, but both teams were devastated with their losses ...

this is a joke, game is end of 3q and nbc delays on uni incident, why cant they show this LIVE?--once again shows network TV is a joke and run thru comercials ... this game is going over barring a miracle, 145 pts end of 3rd--great game once again, lith has 14 treys and usa 4

congrats to larry brown, I really repsect him more than ever, taking this NO WIN situation and working his ass off and even more impressive getting his guys to play for bronze--awesome!... USA shot lights out and marion was monster; Duncan 1-7 but usa wins board and FT battles, and LITH has 20 TOs ... LITH hits 21/37 treys and loses, but over was a joke, shoulda just played that alone :cursin:
