LMU +7 ML +349
Zags -7 ML -405

Totalis 84.5

Do the Zags stay in the zone in the 2nd haf?

Yes they do...they zone up normally. Zags want to slow down the offense and stay away from the weave and back door cuts. Rebounding is too easy for the zags out of the zone and it keeps their bigs under the boards to contest drives. No reason to get out of it.

If they do get out of it....the wings will not help on drives and force the ball handler to take it all the way....Pepperdine wants to drive and kick..they can't score over the Zags bigs.

Just my opinion.

I had Zags -9.5 first half and took them again -7 second half. Just don't think Pepperdine has the bodies or the will power to fight through being tired and foul trouble when down double digits.

Zags ML -440. Keep it safe and hope to add a few bucks to the bankroll.

Good luck..but nothing's ever "safe."..;)

Zags are definitely the right side this half. Just hope Few wants to keep making statements with big wins. I think he does.

Zags doing a poor job finishing this game. Few is telling them to keep going...the players held it out with 4 to go. Hopefully get some stops and a coupld of hoops.

you go the money line cover. missed the second half by a point. usually the zags get favorable officiating...not in this one. quite a few calls went agains them...

still not sure why Few went man to start the second half. no reason. I guess he's getting his guys ready for future games....all it did was kill their confidence in thier man defense...they were terrible.

oh well.

Raivio shot the lights out for a 5 minute stretch in the 2nd half. Do the Zags have what it takes to make the Sweet 16 this year? If so I didn't see it tonight.

Boldin (Spelling?) is much better than he played. When he playes well they are tough. I was not impressed with them early in the season. Heitfelt (spelling?) was way too soft and beating up on inferior competition. Few not starting him is sending a message and he seems to be responding by playing much more physical. Malon will battle and Pendergraph is a good back up big.

Believe it or not I think their weakness is Ravio. He tries to take over games...like we saw tonight...however against taller, longer, more athletic guards he has difficulty getting his shot off and is too much of a shoot first player. They will do well if they play against guards that are not that long and athletic..once they face an athletic defense, Ravio will struggle to score and so will Gonzaga. With the right draw they score enough to get to the sweet 16 but I think they lose in the second round.

Again..just my opinion..but I've watched them a bunch even if I"m on the east coast.
