Geeez. If performance is what you want, plasmas have a few distinct advantages over LCD and LED TVs. They handle moving objects better than LCDs do, so they won't struggle to keep up with receivers sprinting deep routes. They tend to have very wide viewing angles, so anybody near the TV can see the action.

Yeah, everyone here that hates sports should just go buy an LED.

You talked me into plasma a long time ago and I have 3. I can't tell the difference anyway.

I got a new TV about a year ago. Went to Best Buy, got a Plasma TV, came home and let it sit for 5 hours or however the fuck long they tell you to let it sit for. Turn it on and its got a huge fucking green stripe down the middle. Never again.

Took it back and got an LED and its been great.

Nah, I'm good. I haven't had a TV on for me since Sunday. I have it on in the BR for about the 3 minutes it takes me to fall asleep. I watch movies on my computer, is about all the watching I do. Everybody else in the house is happy so we're good. :0008

what size is your computer screen?....why don`t you run an hdmi cable between your computer and the nearest flat screen when you watch a movie?....much nicer watching it on a bigger screen....

What's that mean?

I don't think you know what an HDMI cable is.

If you do, I don't think you own one.

If you do, and you own one I don't think you are taking the time to hook your laptop up to a TV.

If, IF, you do know what one is, you do own one and you take the time to hook the laptop up to the TV I am damn sure you couldn't find what channel the TV is supposed to be on to watch the movie.
