All of you in w.fl, bama, miss and la. i know you in for a good belt form this storm, lot different on that side of the coast then sfl and nfl because you are so low and water is not that deep along your cost lines so you will see some major serge i am sure, and this thing is spinng tornadosout like nuts when it hits land and wind with out tornados is going to be right up there with andrew almost and i know what hell that was like. so thoughts are with you and your family and friends, this is going to do some major damage hope people have got the hell out and not being fools, this will bring hell to these states and on up the next few days into the weekend with rain in the mts of the apps clear through pa it looks like, 6-5 i think your going to get some effects from this one. by fri night or sat good luck to all.

keep us updated as much as you can i am sure you will be getting some more wind later tonight and rain, also if anyone is around mobile and has power would like to here from you all, will be on most of the night working hang in there all you guys, hope everyone comes out of it safe, as for damage i just know there will be lots of it and lot of it inland also, this is a strong storm and could not pick a worse part of the country to hit because of the shallow water and not many place along that coast are more then 12 ft above sl and in some case below in a few spots.

Never lost power at my home, but the homes across the street lost power about 10:00 p.m.
weird that we are on a different grid, than those across the street, Heard about 5 transfromers blow last night, but didn't affect me.
no rain to speak of, windy as hell, but right now abslolutely beautiful day,
now the mad rush badc to new orleans starts, and somehow I got to get to alabama for auburn/l.s.u. game if not cancelled

I wish anyone who is in this storms path best wishes. I dont wish this on anyone. I went threw hurricane francis with no power, no phone and a 24 a day curfew for 4 days. just got my phone back this week. we still dont have many traffic lights up yet.
the one thing i would tell you is to go out and buy and battery operated tv. sharper image sells this tv/radio/ clock/ flashlight. it takes about 10 batteries but if the storm hits you like it did me you will wish you had this. take every precaution even if you think it sounds crazy. I didnt prepare the right way and i was miserable for 10 days.
