This same subject was brought up a while ago, and I still haven't seen a flick that's as good as Shawshank Redemption. I rented it 3 times, saw it over a friend's house twice, and watched it just last month on TBS. What a terrific movie that was!!! I'll have to also agree with a few above in their selection of Usual Suspects. It probably has the best ending of any movie I've ever seen.
DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT go and see Spielberg's new flick Artificial Intelligence. I was pretty much a believer in the fact that Spielberg couldn't make a bad movie. This flick proved me DRASTICALLY wrong! Is the absolute WORST movie of all time! I'd put it right up there with Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. I know this is hard to swallow, but it will be the worst two hours you will have ever spent in a movie theatre if you decide to go! I would say that nearly 90% of the people left before it was over. If it weren't for already calling a sitter, I would have been gone in the 1st 30 minutes. If I had to choose between surgery and watching this flick again, I'd be gettin' up on the table....
