(Las Vegas, NV) -- The woman accused of killing a man and burying the body in her backyard appeared in court this morning. A judge ruled there is enough evidence to try 36-year-old Anna Mitchel on a count of open murder. Mitchel reportedly admitted to a roommate she had killed someone and buried the body in the backyard of her home on 8th Place near Charleston and Las Vegas Boulevard. The remains of the unidentified male victim were found last month.
Prosecutors believe the man was cut up, then was burned on a barbecue grill before the remains were buried.
