hey fellas i got a great wedding present for you to give to your wife or spouse or even a great anniversary present.....

as some of you know, dr. freeze doesn't have much $$ these days due to costs of engagement/honeymoon/school/etc.....

so...i thought to myself, how can i get the best wedding present ever without spending much money????

answer: easy....i am writing a love letter to her morning and evening for the last 25 days of our engagement (total of 50) to be opened one each for the next 50 anniversaries....am including current things we did each day, what i or we could hope for at each anniversary, how much i think of her now or how much i am in love now, etc. etc.

gonna find a nice box to keep all these letter in too...

i figure even if i am not around for all of them it will give her a lasting treasure....i am totally in love with her and i guess this will also serve as a sense of security for my faithfulness too....

also i am gonna write one to be opened the morning of our wedding.....

anyways....thought i would share that....could be a good idea and i have been thinking a long time of something special to give her....i know lots of you guys also have special girls/wives and this might be a good idea too....they will like this better than material things (most will anyway)

anyways....lovesick Dr. Freeze

...certainly a side of the Freeze man I never thought I'd see.

Congrats, my friend and best wishes on the upcoming wedding. I sincerely wish you all the best that life has to offer. I will give you the best advice on making a marriage last that I have read in print and so toasted my childhood friend on his reception night (as I have given many others in this forum)....

To keep the fire burning brightly there's one easy rule: Keep the two logs together, near enough to keep each other warm and far enough apart - about a finger's breadth - for breathing room. Good fire, good marriage, same rule.
- Marnie Reed Crowel

I wish you both the best that life has to offer.

p.s. You will be able to "buy" all the fancy materialistic gifts she could ever want in the years to come and she'll probably still love this one the best of all.... (next to the 5 ct. diamond ring she might get for the 10 year anniversiary....) ;) Keep up the studies and...once again, congrats and best wishes. :toast:

What a "sweet" idea! I'd say she'll love it. Congrats my man, on your happiness and in finding what seems to be a "special woman". Would have to say my wife would compliment you on your thoughtfulness. Best of luck:D

Freeze, that is a great gift. I wish I had thought of that 30 years ago. The best thing about it is that it will grow in importance as the years pass. Best of luck to you.

Good idea freeze, but i'm a little concerned. You've already mentioned that you would rather have Rush Limbaugh playing in the backround while you're getting busy (premarital sex is a sin, btw) than Barry White. How in the world are you gonna come up with 50 letters worth of Donald Rumsfeld quotes? Good luck, anyway.
