Absolutely clasic Hello there, it fits the mood I am feeling towards the players. I live near Cleveland and although the Tribe has been competitive in the last 6 years the reality of being a mid market team has hit this yr. I cannot even imagine what it's like to be a Pirates, Royals or any other small market team, going into the season knowing barring a miracle that your team has no shot. The owners need to remain strong and not cave into the greed that the players so desperately crave, the time has come to create balance within the league, give everyone a shot. If the players cannot have respect for the fans then my soloution is tear the whole league down to it's roots, let's start over and make this thing interesting for fans of all teams. If they want to walk that's fine, let them and field teams next year with players that will all earn 500k per year, from the top player down to the bench jockey all earn the same. Create incentive bonus for the team to increase salaries, if the team wins so many games everyone gets a bump in pay like 100k, set a individual bonus structure for players, if you hit xx homers you get this much. Bring ticket prices down once you lower the salaries to 500k, let Joe Smith take his family of four to a ball game and buy hot dogs , sodas, park the car for 40 bucks. Hell we the fans have basically financed all of these stadiums, when is it our turn to reap some benefits?
