If this guy is the Coach at Texas next Season i'll be shocked! This team has gone from a Legitimate NC contender to being on the brink of becoming the next....well....Kansas!

I can't believe I put money on these ass clowns! I'd rather lose my dough just to see them go up in flames!

They'll end up winning this game......squeak it out or some shit. They may drop 1-2 more games....end up with 3-4 losses....make a bowl game....win it maybe. Mack will not get fired in Texas IMO. Only way he's gone is if he retires or leaves by choice.

Sadly, I think you're right, Hud. Mack brings in tons of money to UT and has DeLoss Dodds' full support. Its a sad day for UT when bringing in money means more than winning and competing for national championships.

The AD DeLoss Dodds, 73, and Mack are good friends. Unless the Horns lose out, Mack will be there next year. IMO Dodds hangs it up in a year or 2, Mack succeeds him, and Texas gets more than a recruiter coach

This would be ideal, but it needs to happen after this season and not in a few years. Texas needs to have a new HC going into next year.

Trust me, Chip won't be at Oregon too much longer. I give him a couple of more years. That is the word that Chris Peterson is Texas' top choice when Mack steps down.
