Bush and Brown New PM of Britain had their 1st meeting today--amazing to see diff on reporting
from Britian and liberal biased Reuters and AP--
After reading consider how many americans read the liberal media representation and the few that read Britians--

PM hails Bush's leadership
From GEORGE PASCOE-WATSON
Political Editor, at Camp David
July 30, 2007

GORDON Brown last night praised George Bush for leading the global war on terror ? saying the world owed America a huge debt.

The Prime Minister vowed to take Winston Churchill?s lead and make Britain?s ties with America even stronger.

Mr Brown stunned critics by THANKING President Bush for the fight against Islamic extremism, and insisted the UK-US relationship will be his No1 foreign policy priority.

He said on his first visit to the President?s US retreat at Camp David: ?Winston Churchill spoke of the ?joint inheritance? of our two countries.?

The PM said that meant ?a joint inheritance not just of shared history but shared values founded on a shared destiny?.

He added: ?America has shown by the resilience and bravery of its people from September 11 that while buildings can be destroyed, values are indestructable.

?We acknowledge the debt the world owes to the US for its leadership in this fight against international terrorism.?

Now take a look at Reuters and AP fair and balanced reporting ;)

Murdock owns The Sun, and Britain is reducing the number of troops it has in Iraq.

The same Murdock who owns Fox News lol. Here is a quote about this great news source from wikipedia. Fits you so nicely dogs.

Sensationalism
More generally, the Murdoch Sun has been criticised since its launch for its sensationalism, which on occasion has led it to publish stories on the most spurious evidence, and for its focus on celebrities for its news and feature coverage. It has regularly been accused of appealing to the lowest common denominator and dumbing down public discourse.:142smilie :142smilie

The question is why did liberal media omit all these quotes--

If you read all 3 articles and can't see the obvious- would say your clueless or related to Spongebob :)

Yes, I see. I think the answer is that because Brown was speaking out of both sides of his mouth, both praising Bush, but also being careful to show that there is disagreement without sounding critical. The difference is that Murdock only tells us about Brown's praise of Bush, and omits any reference to the disagreements.

The AP and Reuters stories dig a little deeper, and make the point that Brown wants to avoid the "Bush's Poodle" epithet that Blair was tied with. Like The Sun, AP and Reuters acknowledge that Brown wanted to show that he was united with Bush and the U.S. But AP and Reuters leave out the high praise. AP tells us that Brown "spoke in broad strokes about areas of agreement," and Reuters says that Brown told Legislators that relations were "not only strong, but strengthening." Which story is better written, the one that gives you the whole story or the one that gives you just half?

You're "Barking" up the wrong tree if you expect a fair and balanced answer on that one, Dog. You pointed out the appropriate differences very well here. Nicely done. Wayne holds up the one report put forth by a Rupert Murdoch source as the only one who can give an accurate picture of the meeting.

:mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

Even more impressive from Wayne's only true source of solid info on this story are the two links also found on the site:

FASHION : Copy Posh's style, Don't spend a fortune on dress.
- and -

TV BIZ: Peek time phewing, Sherece is Brit's Next Topless Model.

It must be getting more difficult to find good links that still show support for this president...

No Chad What I did exactly --was put up all 3 articles and opinions and let people make up their own mind--
"we report you decide" ever hear of the phrase?

Do you think with all 3 articles represented we have clearer view of the facts-or do you think everyone would have been better informed if they just read the AP/Reuters views:shrug:

What you did is borderline insanity and hysterical all wrap up in one. Listen FOX THAT HOWLS the proof will be in how many troops he has to offer. Im willing to bet the answer is A big zippo. I like the one line from your commander the thief. He said Brown gets it lol.
You better hope Haskel doesn't catch wind of this thread because he might want to pile on.
